Nature of Cookies

Categories of Cookies We Use

Essential cookies (strictly necessary)

The following cookies are strictly necessary in order for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled without impairing the core functionality of the Platform, and they do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies

Subject to your consent, we use analytics cookies to collect aggregated and anonymised information concerning the manner in which visitors use the Platform. This information assists us in understanding usage patterns and in improving the content and functionality of the Platform.

Third-party embedded content cookies

The Platform embeds content supplied by third parties. When you view or interact with such embedded content, the relevant third party may set its own cookies, over which the Foundation has no control and for which the Foundation accepts no responsibility.

Cookies We Do Not Use

For the avoidance of doubt, the Platform does not employ any of the following:

1. advertising or retargeting cookies;
2. behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking cookies;
3. browser fingerprinting technologies; or
4. any cookie which constructs a profile of your interests for marketing purposes.

Your Consent and Control

1. When you first visit the Platform, you will be presented with a cookie banner by which you may accept or decline non-essential cookies, being the analytics cookies and third-party embedded content cookies described in clause 2. Essential cookies are always active, the Platform being unable to function without them.
2. You may alter the cookie preferences you have expressed at any time by clearing the cookies stored by your browser and revisiting the Platform, whereupon the cookie banner will be presented to you afresh.

Managing Cookies Through Your Browser

Most browsers permit you to view, manage and delete cookies through their settings. Guidance for the principal browsers is available at the following destinations:

Please note that the disabling of essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from functioning correctly.

Google Analytics Opt-Out

If you wish to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data concerning your visits to the Platform, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which is available for each of the principal browsers.

Similar Technologies

In addition to cookies, we may employ similar technologies, such as web beacons (also known as pixel tags) and local storage, in order to support the functionality of the Platform. Such technologies operate in a manner analogous to cookies and are governed by this Policy.

Governing Law

This Policy, and any dispute or claim (whether contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Panama, consistent with our Terms of Service.

Amendment of this Policy

We may amend this Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. Where we do so, we shall revise the date of effect stated in the title block above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
