Hebron IT Academy student funding: Empowering Youth Through Tech in Ukraine

Located in the Lviv region of Ukraine, the Hebron IT Academy provides a safe haven for orphans, refugees, and disadvantaged youth. Far from the frontlines of the conflict but still deeply impacted by its consequences, Lviv has become a hub of hope for those seeking education and a path to independence.
At Hebron, students, many arriving with urgent needs, find not only a place to live, but also the tools to build a brighter future.
Each student requires around $300 per month to cover food, housing, healthcare, clothing, and study materials. For most orphans and refugees, these costs are impossible to meet without outside support. By stepping in, Defi For Good ensure these young people do not have to choose between survival and education.

This initiative supports students at Hebron IT Academy by covering their housing, meals, medical care, clothing, and educational resources for one year. These essentials ensure that students can focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and building a professional future in the tech industry.
The project is led by Hebron IT Academy’s dedicated team, including CEO Nataliia Bula and CFO Valentyna Yusufenko, along with volunteers who provide daily support. Students participate in tech courses, mentorship programs, and workshops, preparing them for careers in IT while receiving the care and stability they need to succeed.

The Academy currently hosts 44 students, ages 18-23, most of them orphans or young people who have lost stability due to war and hardship. With support from Defi For Good, they will gain the foundation they need to thrive in their studies and beyond.
Education is more than knowledge; it is the key to dignity, independence, and a future beyond crisis. By supporting students at Hebron IT Academy, Defi For Good is not just funding education, but fueling resilience and opportunity for Ukraine’s next generation.
