Building Brighter Days for 200 Children

In July 2025, the DeFi for Good Foundation reached an exciting milestone with the completion of the first stage of the new Kindergarten Dining and Event Room in Kangeme, joyfully marked by the children and teachers gathered in front of the newly built hall.

This new structure brings immediate support to the 90 kindergarten students who have long faced tiring walks to distant meal areas, creating the foundation for a safe, close, and child-friendly dining environment.

When fully completed, the space will serve more than 200 children from the kindergarten and primary school, offering not only a dedicated dining room but also a much-needed venue for school and community activities.

With the second phase, installing the kitchen, storage area, windows, doors, and interior furnishings, already underway and expected to finish in July 2026, the project represents a meaningful step forward in strengthening daily life and learning conditions for the community of Kangeme.
